Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa Guide

Turf Club dinners, pool bars, Disney Springs next door and who this villa resort suits

Illustrated sunset view of Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa across the water.

Some Disney resorts feel theatrical.

Saratoga Springs feels livable.

Spread across golf fairways, tree-lined paths and quiet water, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa feels less like a hotel and more like a neighborhood that happens to sit on Disney property.

It takes its cues from the historic resort towns and racing culture of upstate New York. Think horse-country touches, porches and a calm, unhurried rhythm.

This is Disney with a front porch.

And it has one trick most resorts cannot match: Disney Springs is right across the water.

If you want a quiet base with an easy evening out, this is one of the smartest picks on property.

Saratoga Springs at a Glance

Saratoga Springs is a large Disney Vacation Club resort sitting directly across the lake from Disney Springs. Its size is both the appeal and the catch.

  • Category: Deluxe Villa (Disney Vacation Club)
  • Area: Disney Springs area
  • Transportation: Buses to the parks; walking paths and boat service to Disney Springs
  • The vibe: Residential, relaxed and quietly refined, with Disney Springs on the doorstep

Who It's Best For

Disney Springs Lovers

If your ideal evening is dinner, a drink and a stroll at Disney Springs, staying here makes that effortless.

Families on Longer Stays

Villas with kitchens and space to spread out take the pressure off a week-long trip.

Couples and Adults Who Like Calm

Golf course views, quiet paths and a spa on site. It is not a party resort, and that is the point.

Who May Prefer Another Resort

  • If you want more character and lively theming in the same area, try Port Orleans.
  • If you want even more space and an even slower pace, Old Key West is next door in spirit.
  • If you want to walk to a theme park rather than a shopping district, look at the BoardWalk Inn.

This resort is big. Depending on your building, the walk to the main pool, the dining or the bus stop can be long.

The Vibe

The energy here is residential, relaxed and quietly refined.

Mornings feel peaceful and open. Afternoons drift through shade and stillness. Evenings settle into porch lights, reflections on the water and slow walks.

Nothing feels rushed. Nothing feels crowded.

Even the theming whispers. Horse-racing details, clubhouse colors and garden paths do the work quietly, so the resort never feels like it is trying to impress you.

It feels like a place people live, not just visit.

This is Disney for people who value rhythm over rush.

Dining, Bars & Lounges

Saratoga Springs dining is built around comfort and everyday ease. The lineup is small, which is fine, because Disney Springs is your bonus dining room.

Table Service

The Turf Club Bar and Grill serves classic American dishes in a racetrack clubhouse setting, with golf course and lake views. It is calm and understated, with steakhouse energy and no spectacle. It was scheduled to close for a refurbishment in late summer 2026, so check its current status before you book.

Bars & Lounges

The Turf Club Lounge sits beside the restaurant and is my pick for a quiet pre-dinner drink. It has a full bar and light plates, and it feels like the resort's grown-up living room.

On the Rocks Pool Bar at the main pool is open-air, sunny and social in the most natural way. Drinks here feel like rewards, not plans.

Backstretch Pool Bar near the golf course is seasonal, so treat it as a bonus.

Casual & Quick Service

The Artist's Palette is the resort's main quick-service spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a small market. It is approachable and flexible.

Paddock Grill serves the pool area with casual food and bar service.

How Disney Springs Shapes the Stay

If one thing sets Saratoga Springs apart, it is how close Disney Springs is.

For guests, an evening there does not need a car or a commitment. A stroll becomes dinner. A drink becomes a night out.

That makes it a great base for anyone who wants to work through the Disney Springs dining scene, from The Boathouse to Raglan Road to Wine Bar George.

Visiting as a Local

The old local habit was to park at Disney Springs, wander over for a quiet drink and wander back. Under the June 2026 rules, that is not the plan anymore.

Disney now limits resort parking and Disney Springs resort buses and boats to people with a room, dining or recreation reservation.

So if you are not staying here, book dinner at the Turf Club. That is your way in, and it gives the evening a shape: arrive early, have a drink in the lounge, enjoy the view, and then settle in for dinner.

The Turf Club also has golf course and lake views, so an early reservation lets you catch the light fading over the water before dinner.

Or flip it around. Stay here for a night or two and enjoy Disney Springs the easy way, on foot.

Tiki Tim's Take

Saratoga Springs makes the most sense when you want Disney woven into a calm, everyday rhythm.

It is a resort for people who want space, quiet mornings and an evening out that is a walk or a short boat ride away.

It is not the most exciting resort on property, and the size can wear on you if your building is far from the action.

But if a porch, a lounge drink and Disney Springs across the water sound like the perfect evening, you will understand this place quickly.

Saratoga Springs settles. Disney Springs extends.
