Disney Treasure Guide

Dining, lounges, entertainment, rooms and who this ship is actually best for

Illustrated Disney Treasure Guide cover showing the Disney Treasure at sea.

Disney Treasure is where Disney Cruise Line's newer ship design gets much more interesting for Tiki Tim Adventures.

Why?

Because this ship leans hard into adventure.

Not just Disney characters.

Not just princesses.

Not just Marvel.

Disney Treasure pulls heavily from classic Disney park attractions, exploration, tropical storytelling and adventure-driven films. Disney itself describes Treasure as the first Disney ship to bring iconic Disney Parks attraction stories to sea, with lounges inspired by Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion among the headline experiences.

That immediately gives the ship a different personality from Disney Wish.

Structurally, the ships are closely related.

Emotionally?

Not the same trip.

And that is exactly what makes Treasure worth understanding on its own.

Disney Treasure at a Glance

Disney Treasure currently sails primarily 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral. Disney's published 2026 and 2027 schedules continue to show Treasure in that role, including Eastern and Western Caribbean departures from Port Canaveral.

That is one of the biggest differences between Treasure and Wish.

Wish is strongly associated with shorter Bahamas trips.

Treasure gives you a full week.

That extra time matters on a ship with this much going on.

Who Is Disney Treasure Best For?

I would put Treasure near the top of the list for:

Disney Parks Fans

If Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion and classic attraction storytelling mean something to you, this ship is built to trigger that part of your brain repeatedly.

Adults Who Still Want Disney

The lounge lineup is particularly strong.

You get:

  • Haunted Mansion Parlor
  • Skipper Society
  • Periscope Pub
  • Scat Cat Lounge
  • The Rose
  • Quiet Cove
  • premium adult dining

Disney currently lists a long roster of lounge/nightlife venues associated with Treasure.

Families Who Want a Full Week

Seven nights gives you time to:

  • experience rotational dining
  • see the shows
  • enjoy the lounges
  • use the kids clubs
  • spend time on deck
  • visit Caribbean ports
  • actually revisit favorite spaces

Travelers Who Prefer Adventure Over Fairytale

This is probably the easiest way to explain the difference.

Wish feels more:

storybook Disney

Treasure feels more:

adventure Disney

Who May Prefer Another Ship?

Treasure may not be the best fit if you want:

  • a short 3- or 4-night cruise
  • the lowest possible Disney cruise price
  • Alaska
  • Europe
  • a smaller ship
  • classic Disney Cruise Line layout
  • minimal Disney Parks references

It is also worth remembering that Treasure shares much of its underlying ship design with Wish and Destiny.

If you dislike the basic Wish-class layout, Treasure's incredible theming may not completely change your mind.

The Adventure Theme

This is where Treasure differentiates itself.

Disney describes the ship as inspired by stories of adventure from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and Disney Parks attractions.

That gives the ship a much more coherent editorial identity than simply:

here are several Disney franchises on a boat.

You see that theme in:

  • Plaza de Coco
  • Disney The Tale of Moana
  • Jungle Cruise-inspired Skipper Society
  • Haunted Mansion Parlor
  • 20,000 Leagues-inspired Periscope Pub
  • AquaMouse's Treasure-specific storyline

This ship knows what it wants to be.

Disney Treasure Dining

Disney currently lists a broad dining lineup for Treasure, including rotational restaurants, casual food, premium adult dining and specialty sweets.

The three primary rotational dining experiences are built around:

  • Plaza de Coco
  • Worlds of Marvel
  • 1923

This is a strong lineup.

Plaza de Coco

This may be the dining experience that most clearly separates Treasure from Wish.

Plaza de Coco is a theatrical Coco-themed rotational restaurant with two distinct nights of entertainment aboard Treasure. Disney says the experience transports guests to Santa Cecilia and draws its menu inspiration from Mexican flavors.

On the first night, Miguel and the town's mariachis are central to the celebration.

On the second, the story evolves into a Día de los Muertos celebration involving the Rivera family.

This is not:

Coco wallpaper while you eat dinner.

It is dinner theater.

If your family likes Disney's immersive dining approach, Plaza de Coco is one of Treasure's strongest selling points.

Worlds of Marvel

Treasure also has Worlds of Marvel.

But Disney has given Treasure its own multi-night programming.

One current experience is Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix, which combines Groot and Rocket storytelling with music inspired by the Guardians of the Galaxy films.

This makes Worlds of Marvel another example of Disney using the same restaurant concept differently across related ships.

That matters when comparing Treasure with Wish.

1923

1923 provides the calmer rotational-dining counterweight.

It is inspired by the history and artistry of the Walt Disney Company.

If Coco and Marvel are the loud themed nights, 1923 gives you something more traditionally upscale.

On a 7-night sailing, having different dining moods becomes more valuable.

Marceline Market

Marceline Market serves as a major breakfast and lunch venue.

Disney describes it as an eclectic marketplace with:

  • familiar favorites
  • international dishes
  • plant-based options

and a design connection to Walt Disney's childhood hometown of Marceline, Missouri.

This is one of your everyday food workhorses.

Not every meal needs fireworks.

Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods

Treasure also features Disney's upper-deck quick-service collection.

Current stations include concepts such as:

  • Mickey's Smokestack BBQ
  • Donald's Cantina
  • Daisy's Pizza Pies
  • Goofy's Grill
  • Minnie's Delights

This matters on a 7-night cruise.

Sometimes the best meal is the one that takes seven minutes.

Jumbeaux's Sweets

Zootopia fans get Jumbeaux's Sweets.

Disney describes the venue as offering dozens of flavors of handmade gelato and ice cream along with specialty treats and candies.

Necessary?

No.

Dangerous?

Potentially.

Adult Dining

Treasure retains the premium adult dining lineup familiar from Wish.

Palo Steakhouse

Italian-influenced dining and steaks.

Enchanté

French fine dining built around menus from chef Arnaud Lallement.

Disney continues to list both as adult-exclusive dining options aboard Treasure.

On a 7-night cruise, these make more sense to me than on a 3-night sailing.

You have enough nights to enjoy the rotational dining and still carve out time for premium dining.

The Haunted Mansion Parlor

Now we get to the fun part.

Haunted Mansion Parlor is one of Treasure's signature adult-exclusive spaces.

Disney describes it as a first-of-its-kind haunted lounge built like the drawing room of a classic cruise liner, with a new chapter in the Haunted Mansion story and its own themed cocktail menu.

This is exactly the kind of venue I want Tiki Tim Tested to eventually evaluate.

Not because Haunted Mansion automatically makes a bar good.

But because this is the sort of themed environment Disney can execute exceptionally well when concept, cocktails and atmosphere all work together.

At minimum:

I am investigating.

Thoroughly.

Skipper Society

If Haunted Mansion Parlor is the obvious headline for Disney attraction fans, Skipper Society may be the most Tiki Tim-coded venue on the ship.

Disney describes it as an adult-exclusive cocktail lounge paying tribute to the Jungle Cruise attractions from Disney parks around the world, with themed cocktails, light snacks and live entertainment.

Jungle Cruise.

Adventure.

Cocktails.

Boat jokes.

This seems suspiciously targeted.

And yes, we will eventually need dedicated coverage.

Is Skipper Society a Tiki Bar?

Important question.

Not automatically.

Jungle Cruise aesthetics overlap with:

  • tropical escapism
  • adventure bars
  • tiki-adjacent environments
  • mid-century Disney exoticism

But that does not automatically make something authentic tiki.

That distinction matters for Tiki Tim Adventures.

We'll evaluate Skipper Society on its own terms rather than forcing it into a tiki category because palm fronds exist.

Periscope Pub

Periscope Pub is inspired by the former Walt Disney World attraction 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Submarine Voyage.

Disney describes the adult-exclusive venue as placing guests aboard the Nautilus, with craft beer, cocktails, light bites and submarine-inspired environmental effects.

This is another venue that gives Treasure something Wish does not have:

deep-cut Disney Parks nostalgia.

For Disney fans of a certain age, that can hit very differently from a generic sports bar.

Scat Cat Lounge

Scat Cat Lounge takes inspiration from The Aristocats.

Disney describes it as a vintage jazz-club-style piano bar with upscale cocktails, live entertainment and visual nods to the film.

This gives Treasure another adult space with a completely different mood.

Haunted.

Adventure.

Submarine.

Jazz.

The lounge variety here is excellent.

The Rose

Treasure also carries over The Rose, the elegant Beauty and the Beast-inspired lounge near the premium restaurants.

This is the place for:

  • pre-dinner drinks
  • quieter atmosphere
  • ocean views
  • date-night energy

Sometimes the best adult venue does not need an animatronic ghost.

Though animatronic ghosts are appreciated.

Sarabi

Sarabi is Treasure's flexible Lion King-inspired entertainment venue.

Disney says the space hosts:

  • musical performances
  • comedy
  • family game shows

during the day, with adult-exclusive programming at night.

That gives Treasure a flexible entertainment space beyond its formal theater productions.

Disney The Tale of Moana

One of Treasure's biggest entertainment differentiators is Disney The Tale of Moana.

Disney says the Broadway-style production debuted exclusively on Treasure and brings Moana's journey to the stage at sea.

This is a major selling point for families who love Moana.

It is also perfectly aligned with Treasure's broader adventure identity.

Ocean.

Exploration.

Island storytelling.

The fit makes sense.

Beauty and the Beast

Treasure also offers Disney's Beauty and the Beast stage production.

That gives the theater lineup a familiar Disney anchor alongside the newer Moana show.

Disney Seas the Adventure

The ship also features Disney Seas the Adventure, with Goofy and Disney/Pixar characters appearing through a broad musical story.

Together, those productions give a 7-night Treasure sailing enough theatrical variety that you are not watching the same style of show repeatedly.

AquaMouse

Treasure includes AquaMouse, but with its own storyline.

Disney currently offers Curse of the Golden Egg on Treasure, sending Mickey and Minnie through an ancient-temple treasure hunt.

Again:

same hardware family.

different storytelling.

And the adventure concept makes particular sense here.

Pools and Water Play

Disney currently describes Treasure as having multiple pools, along with family water-play areas including:

  • Toy Story Splash Zone
  • Slide-a-saurus Rex

in addition to AquaMouse.

For families, there is plenty happening on the upper decks.

On sea days, expect those areas to be popular.

Hero Zone

Hero Zone is Treasure's indoor family recreation space.

It supports:

  • sports
  • organized challenges
  • game-show-style activities
  • general family recreation

This gives families another option when they need a break from sun and water.

Kids Clubs

Treasure inherits the elaborate youth-club philosophy of its ship family.

Current Disney materials highlight experiences such as:

Marvel Super Hero Academy

Interactive Marvel programming.

Fairytale Hall

Disney storytelling and princess-focused spaces.

along with Disney's broader Oceaneer Club programming.

Older children also have dedicated tween and teen spaces.

A full week gives kids much more opportunity to actually use them than a short cruise does.

Adults-Only Areas

Treasure is particularly strong here.

Adults can find:

  • Haunted Mansion Parlor
  • Skipper Society
  • Periscope Pub
  • Scat Cat Lounge
  • The Rose
  • Quiet Cove
  • Cove Café
  • Palo Steakhouse
  • Enchanté
  • Senses Spa

Disney's current Treasure lounge listing confirms a broad lineup of adult venues across the ship.

This may be the biggest reason I think Treasure is especially compelling for adults who still want Disney.

Quiet Cove

Quiet Cove provides the adults-only pool experience.

Disney describes Treasure's area as an adult refuge with an infinity pool, bar and lounge space separated from the family activity zones.

On a 7-night sailing, you may actually have enough time to use it properly.

Imagine that.

Senses Spa

Treasure includes Disney's Senses Spa, including its Rainforest environment with features such as:

  • heated lounges
  • steam room
  • sauna
  • water features
  • relaxation areas

This is optional premium territory, obviously.

But it gives adults another way to build a very different cruise from the family experience happening elsewhere.

Staterooms

Treasure offers the expected major Disney categories:

  • Inside
  • Oceanview
  • Verandah
  • Concierge

Disney's current Treasure deck plans confirm all four major categories across the ship.

Your room decision should still start with:

  • budget
  • party size
  • sleeping needs
  • how much time you'll spend there
  • whether private outdoor space matters

Not:

the internet says I need a verandah.

Do You Need a Verandah on Disney Treasure?

I think the case is stronger here than on a short Wish sailing.

Why?

Seven nights.

More sea time.

Caribbean scenery.

More opportunities for:

  • morning coffee outside
  • quiet afternoon time
  • evening ocean views

That does not mean everyone needs one.

But you are more likely to actually use it.

Concierge on Disney Treasure

Treasure also offers Concierge accommodations.

As with Wish, you're buying:

  • upgraded service
  • premium accommodations
  • dedicated amenities
  • additional exclusivity

It can be excellent.

It is also a major price jump.

I would compare:

Concierge

against

regular verandah + money for experiences

rather than assuming the highest category is automatically the best vacation.

Disney Treasure Itineraries

Treasure currently focuses on 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral.

That means the ship is particularly attractive if you want:

  • a full-week Disney cruise
  • Caribbean ports
  • Port Canaveral
  • substantial onboard time
  • enough nights to experience the ship properly

This is one of the clearest differences from Disney Wish.

Why Seven Nights Matters

This ship makes more sense to me as a weeklong vacation.

You have time for:

  • all three rotational dining concepts
  • repeat dining nights
  • major stage shows
  • several lounges
  • pool time
  • kids clubs
  • premium dining
  • Caribbean ports
  • sea days

You don't have to choose between:

experience the ship and sleep.

That is progress.

Disney Treasure vs Disney Wish

These ships share a lot.

But the choice is not difficult once you define the vacation.

Choose Disney Wish if:

  • you want 3 or 4 nights
  • Bahamas is enough
  • Frozen appeals strongly
  • Star Wars lounge theming matters
  • you're pairing it with Walt Disney World
  • you want a shorter, concentrated Disney trip

Choose Disney Treasure if:

  • you want 7 nights
  • Caribbean matters
  • you love Disney Parks attractions
  • Haunted Mansion sounds appealing
  • Jungle Cruise sounds even more appealing
  • Coco and Moana are strong family interests
  • you want more time for adult lounges

That's a meaningful difference.

What I Like About Disney Treasure

The identity is coherent

Adventure runs through the entire ship.

The adult lounges are excellent on paper

Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, 20,000 Leagues and Aristocats give the lineup actual personality.

Seven nights

This may be the biggest advantage.

Plaza de Coco

A multi-night Coco dining experience makes strong thematic sense.

Disney The Tale of Moana

The headline theatrical experience fits the ship beautifully.

Disney Parks references

Treasure feels designed for people who love Disney beyond simply recognizing characters.

What I Would Think About Carefully

It is still a large newer-generation Disney ship

If you prefer Magic or Wonder scale, Treasure will not suddenly feel small.

It is franchise-heavy

Even though the adventure identity is cohesive, you're still immersed in Disney storytelling.

Seven nights costs more than three

Obvious, but important.

Treasure may provide better vacation depth while requiring a much larger total budget.

Is Disney Treasure Good for Adults?

Very possibly one of the strongest Disney choices.

Not because it becomes an adults-only cruise.

It absolutely does not.

But the adult venue lineup is unusually compelling.

A couple could realistically rotate through:

  • Skipper Society
  • Haunted Mansion Parlor
  • Periscope Pub
  • Scat Cat Lounge
  • The Rose
  • Palo
  • Enchanté
  • Quiet Cove

without repeating the same evening every night.

That is significant.

Is Disney Treasure Good for First-Time Cruisers?

Yes.

Especially if you already know you want a full week.

In some ways, I prefer the idea of a first Disney cruise on Treasure over a 3-night Wish sailing because seven nights gives you time to understand what Disney Cruise Line actually offers.

The downside is commitment.

If you've never cruised at all and aren't sure you'll like it?

A week is a larger experiment.

The Tiki Tim Take

Disney Treasure may be the most naturally aligned ship in the current Disney fleet with what Tiki Tim Adventures is about.

Adventure.

Ports.

Tropical destinations.

Disney Parks history.

Interesting bars.

Jungle Cruise.

Haunted Mansion.

A week in the Caribbean.

There are worse assignments.

The ship still needs to deliver beyond its concepts.

But from an editorial perspective?

There is a lot here worth exploring.

Should You Sail Disney Treasure?

Choose Treasure if your ideal Disney cruise includes:

  • a full week
  • Caribbean ports
  • adventure-focused Disney storytelling
  • great themed lounges
  • Coco
  • Moana
  • Disney Parks nostalgia
  • enough time to actually enjoy the ship

Consider another ship if:

  • you only want a short cruise
  • you prefer smaller ships
  • you want a destination Treasure does not serve
  • Disney Parks references do not particularly matter to you

Disney Treasure is not merely Wish with different wallpaper.

The hardware may be related.

The personality is its own.

And in this case, personality matters.
